Tim Heavenor President
Tim is the founding President of Gracorp. Tim contributes over 28 years of experience in major project development, strategic planning, private equity, business development and corporate finance. Based in Calgary, Tim is also the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of the Graham Group. Together, Gracorp and Graham Capital are developing a growing portfolio of private and public real estate and infrastructure assets. Tim is the founding President and Director of the GVest Private Equity LP and the Connor Clark & Lunn GVest Traditional Infrastructure LP and is a director of the Canadian Farm Insurance Corporation, a Canadian insurance company.
Tim joined the Graham Group as Vice President in 2007 and founded Gracorp shortly thereafter. Previously, Tim was one of three executives who led Manvest Inc., a private investment company, to top-quartile returns over a 10-year period. While at Manvest, Tim was an officer and director of numerous investor and investee companies. Tim holds a B.Com (Finance) from the University of Alberta.
Bruce Black Vice President
Bruce has 22 years of experience in corporate finance, development, investment management and operations. Based in Vancouver, Bruce oversees the real estate activities of Gracorp and Graham. Bruce previously led large public development projects that now form part of the Graham Capital portfolio.
Prior to joining Gracorp, Bruce was Vice President of Corporate Finance and Development of a publicly listed gaming and entertainment company. Prior thereto, he was an investment banker with TD Securities and a consultant with KPMG. Bruce holds Chartered Accountant (CA), Chartered Business Valuator (CBV) and Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designations as well as a B.A. from the University of British Columbia.
Novy Cheema Director, Real Estate
Novy is based in Calgary and has over eight years of experience in real estate law and development. Prior to joining Gracorp, he worked as an in-house counsel for a regional real estate developer where he was responsible for negotiating, drafting and closing purchase and sale agreements, commercial leases and debt and equity financings for properties located throughout Alberta and Houston, Texas. Prior to this, he was a commercial real estate associate for a national law firm in Calgary.
Novy holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Alberta and a Bachelor of Commerce (Finance) degree from the University of Calgary. Novy is an active member of the Law Society of Alberta, Canadian Bar Association, Calgary Bar Association and NAIOP (Commercial Real Estate Development Association).
Jill Brimacombe Director, Real Estate
Jill works in Gracorp’s Vancouver office. Prior to joining Gracorp’s real estate team, she spent eight years managing the technical components of large-scale P3 projects in British Columbia. She helped lead the successful bids for several B.C.-based projects totalling over $845 million, including the B.C. Cancer Agency Centre for the North, the Interior Heart and Surgical Centre, and the North Island Hospitals Project. Jill holds an M.A.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of British Columbia and a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Alberta. Jill is a Professional Engineer and a LEED Accredited Professional.
Joe Augello Director, Real Estate
Joe is based in Seattle and has over 15 years of experience in the real estate industry. He leads Gracorp’s real estate development activities in the northwest region of the United States where he is responsible for deal structuring, acquisitions, developments, financing and fund management.
Prior to joining Gracorp in 2018, Joe worked as an Acquisition Manager at Columbia Pacific Advisors, a Seattle based alternative asset manager with over $1 billion in real estate AUM. He has also held positions as a Portfolio Manager with Bank of America’s Commercial Real Estate Banking group where he underwrote, restructured and managed over $600 million in credit lending facilities and as an Equity Sales Associate at GE Capital Real Estate. Joe has extensive acquisition, contract negotiation, fund management experience having been involved in the development, repositioning and management of numerous multi-family, senior housing, industrial, self-storage, hospitality and office properties throughout the United States.
Joe earned his degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance from Western Washington University and is a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM).
Brad Wise Finance Lead
Brad brings over 25 years of experience in real estate finance and asset management. He has been involved in all aspects of the real estate life cycle including due diligence, development, management, acquisition and profitable dispositions. Brad has been instrumental in identifying, acquiring and financing real estate assets on behalf of private and institutional investors as well as open- and closed-end investment funds. He has successfully structured over $1 billion of equity, first mortgage financing and property dispositions across all facets of commercial real estate projects in Canada and U.S.
Brad graduated from the Simon Fraser University with a Master of Business Administration in 1996. He holds a Canadian Securities Course Certificate (Honours), and an Investment Funds in Canada Course Certificate through the Canadian Securities Institute.
Hal Hodgson Property Manager
Hal leads the property management duties for Gracorp, commencing with the 2015 sale and leaseback of the Graham Group’s portfolio of office and shop facilities in Western Canada. With over 30 years in commercial real estate, Hal has expertise in property management, leasing, acquisition and development, investment analysis, financing, and real estate brokerage. Hal’s experience includes working for national retail chains and financial institutions with responsibility covering the four western provinces and the Greater Toronto area. He has also owned and operated his own property management company. Hal has a B.Com from the University of Calgary and has completed the Urban Land diploma course at the University of British Columbia. Hal is also a licensed broker in Alberta.
Curtis Pelletier Manager of Investor Relations
Curtis is based in Calgary and has over eight years of capital markets, corporate communications, and regulatory disclosure experience across a broad range of industries. He has an extensive knowledge base in the fields of communication, finance, and marketing and a successful track record of planning and executing strategic investor relations programs on behalf of publicly traded companies.
Prior to joining Gracorp, Curtis was the Manager of Investor Relations for a publicly listed upstream oil and gas company. Curtis served as the Membership & Mentorship Chair of the Canadian Investor Relations Institute (CIRI) – Alberta Chapter for five years. He holds a Bachelor of Applied Communications – Public Relations Degree and a Technical Writing Certificate from Mount Royal University.
Adrien Rahbar Associate Director, Real Estate
Adrien is based in Gracorp’s Vancouver Office and has over eight years of real estate development experience at the municipal level and in the private sector. Prior to joining Gracorp, Adrien worked for several leading development firms in Vancouver while handling projects in both BC and Alberta. In his prior roles, Adrien was responsible for handling acquisitions, marketing and sales, and development management. Adrien is also a licensed managing broker in BC.
Adrien has a BA in Urban Geography from UBC, a Diploma in Urban Land Economics with a Real Estate Development Specialization from UBC and his LEED AP Neighbourhood Development credential. He is an active member of the Urban Land Institute, Urban Development Institute, and the REBGV.
Asad Siddiqui Development Manager
Asad is based in Gracorp’s Vancouver office. He began his career with Deutsche Bank’s Investment Banking division in Dubai followed by time at a Private Equity firm in Toronto. Prior to joining Gracorp in 2016, Asad worked as a Real Estate Equity Research Associate at a Toronto-based Independent Capital Markets firm for three years, where he covered Canada-based REITs operating across North America.
Asad holds a Bachelor of Arts (Economics and Mathematics) degree from McGill University and is a CFA® Charterholder).
Dale Reimer Development Manager
Based in Calgary as a Development Manager, Dale works collaboratively with Gracorp’s stakeholders to manage the Construction and Design of our current and future projects. Specifically, he works with the Architects, Engineers, General Contractors and Gracorp’s team members to successfully complete our projects.
Prior to joining Gracorp, Dale worked with Graham Construction for over 15 years as a Journeyman Carpenter and Superintendent. Dale has a wealth of knowledge and experience in Construction and Design that he has gained from 28 years of field experience. He has played a key role in the successful completion of a variety of projects including high rise residential, university campuses, hospitals, retail box stores, multi-use buildings, warehouses and many other challenging builds.
Ryan Duff Development Manager
Ryan has over ten years of experience in the municipal and real estate development industries, having been involved in many civil infrastructure and residential master planned projects. Ryan began his career as a civil engineering cadet for the Wollongong City Council, where he worked with the design, construction, city planning and development departments. He then transitioned to a private developer where he managed award-winning residential developments along the coast of New South Wales, Australia. Ryan opened his own consultancy practice in 2017 and moved to Vancouver in 2018 to diversify his real estate experience. He now oversees acquisition activities for Gracorp Properties as well as the development and marketing for many of our mixed-use projects.
Ryan holds a Master of Engineering Management, a Bachelor of Engineering – Civil & Structural Major (Hons. Class I), and a Certificate in Project Management (PMBOK).
Nick Pyra Finance Manager
Nick is based in Calgary and has over ten years of finance and accounting experience across multiple industries. Prior to joining Gracorp, Nick was the Manager, Corporate Planning & Analysis for Graham Group and played a key role in the development and continuous improvement of capital planning, reporting and analysis.
Nick is a CPA, CMA and holds a Bachelor of Management (Accounting) from the University of Lethbridge.
Layne French Development Coordinator
Layne is based in Gracorp’s Vancouver office. He has over four years of experience in urban planning, public engagement, entitlement processes, and research in both planning and development. Prior to joining Gracorp, Layne worked for a planning and development practice providing pre-development and consulting services for various clients in the housing and real estate markets. Layne also served on a planning and development committee representing his neighbourhood association while residing in Calgary.
Layne holds a Masters of Planning (M.Plan) degree and a B.A. in Urban Studies from the University of Calgary. He also holds a Certificate in Real Estate Development from the University of Calgary’s Faculty of Continuing Studies.
Shannon Quinney Development Coordinator
Based in Calgary, Shannon has worked with Gracorp since 2014. As Development Coordinator, she works closely with Gracorp’s project teams to source and evaluate new real estate development opportunities and execute current projects. Prior to joining Gracorp, Shannon provided executive administrative support for Graham Group’s C-suite, Investor Relations team and senior leaders of the Development and Strategic Investment division.

Diana Lam Senior Financial Analyst
Diana is based in Gracorp’s Vancouver office. She has over five years of real estate investment and development experience having worked on projects across Western Canada in all asset classes. Diana started her career at a private equity real estate firm before moving to an advisory group focused on managing institutional investments and real estate development projects.
Diana holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Real Estate & Sustainability) degree from the University of British Columbia.
Steve JenkinsFacilities Manager
Steve is based in Gracorp’s Calgary office. He has over ten years of experience working in Facilities Management for several diverse industries, such as Oil & Gas, Modular Construction, and Retail. Steve is well versed in Facilities Management Best Practices, particularly in process improvement, vendor management, budget formulation, real estate administration and project management.
Steve is working on his FMP certification through the International Facility Managers Association.
Maria VillamorInvestor Relations Analyst
Maria is based in the Calgary office and has 17 years of experience in corporate finance and extensive knowledge in job costing. Prior to joining Graham and Gracorp, she worked in financial reporting in Montreal, Quebec.
Maria holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management and majored in Marketing from Polytechnic University of the Philippines. Maria also completed a Financial Management program from Delta College, Montreal earning a certificate in Attestation of College Studies.
Ridgeline BerdosFinancial Accountant
Ridgeline is based in Gracorp’s Calgary office. She currently works with the finance team to support Gracorp’s project accounting and deliverables for the investment and project portfolios. Prior to joining Gracorp in 2017, Ridgeline worked with Graham Group’s Treasury Department for four years. During this term she was directly involved in a corporate wide SAP implementation project designed to enhance Graham’s treasury processes and reporting platforms.
Ridgeline has more than 10 years of international accounting experience and earned a professional accounting designation with CGA Alberta in 2016.
Reed McLeanFinancial Analyst
Reed is based in Calgary and works alongside Gracorp’s regional directors who oversee our Alberta assets. Prior to joining Gracorp, Reed was a consultant at Urban Analytics where he tracked the Calgary rental market. Reed has also worked with Enright Capital, a local developer, asset and property management firm in a variety of roles related to the development and leasing of properties.
Reed holds a BCom and a Certificate in Real Estate from the University of Alberta and he is currently a CFA Level II Candidate (Exam Date: June 2019).
